    Amidst the café, eclectic young designer and colourful culture of the K’Rd area you’ll find Vada, boasting internationally trained, nationally recognized stylists and technicians. Vada fuses education and creativity to embrace the free style fashions of every season.

    Director Guy Roberts is originally from London where he trained and worked in top London salons before traveling the world and moving to Auckland. His rise in the industry has gone from strength to strength, with he and his team heavily involved in industry training producing seminars and shows within the industry, as well as being called upon regularly for magazine session work, fashion shows and fashion week.

    Each of our stylists has a minimum of 5 years experience or more, and has gone through a structured comprehensive programme to learn to provide a quality of work second to none.

    Vada is a powerful creative force delivering on it’s Sanskrit name meaning ‘the gift, the promise’. Vada’s philosophy is one of passion and excitement.

    Director Guy Roberts’ believes in a fusion of music, fashion, design, style and pop culture. His approach encompasses working with hair in it’s natural state, treating hair as organic material to be shaped into forms that appear effortless, but have been intently technically considered.

    Vada’s main focus is to create editorial looks which can in turn be used to bring new fashion direction to our clients and yet, still capturing the essence of the individual.

    At Vada our strong belief in sustainability begins at front of house encouraging our clients to re-use their specially designed appointment cards.

    We have recycling systems in place to re-use and recycle where possible.
    We endeavor to use recycled materials for print media and packaging.

    Chemical Waste

    A specialist company collects all of our tint tubes, foil and chemical waste to safely dispose of and recycle.
